Matthey Hong Kong Limited is part of the Precious Metals Products Division.
The principal services offered
in Hong Kong and China are the refining, trading, fabrication and
marketing of PGM metals, either as pure metals or as products.
Johnson Matthey refines PGM scrap from across the Asia Pacific
region ("Refining"), and supplies PGM ingots / sponge to customer specifications.
We sell PGM based chemical products, and supply precious metal
catalyst products ("Catalyst and Chemicals").
The business also encompasses a full range of fabricated precious
metal products ("Noble Metals"),
and products for the jewellery industry ("Jewellery"),
all manufactured in Johnson Matthey's worldwide manufacturing facilities,
or bought in from other globally recognized suppliers. Johnson Matthey
Hong Kong is the Asia Pacific headquarters for the company's platinum
bullion business ("Platinum"). We operate
a comprehensive precious metal dealing service, which, in conjunction
with our offices in England and the USA, offers a 24 hour metal
pricing service. Johnson Matthey is the largest distributor of precious
metals and is the sole marketing agent for Anglo American Platinum
Corporation, the world's largest producer of platinum.
